  • The girl on the left of the picture is my lovely sister Pamela Denman. Next to her is Maureen Beech who was the previous year’s Miss Mile Oak and was also I believe Miss Argus. I’m afraid I don’t know the names of the other two ladies but will try to find out.

  • Apparently and I have it on good authority that the lady getting the crown is Sandra McDiarmid.
