This is a lip reading and hearing support drop-in which is held at the Victory Inn, 6 Duke Street, Brighton. Meets the last Wednesday in the month and runs from 6pm-8pm. All are welcome and entrance is free.
The drop in is a great opportunity to meet others with hearing loss. You can learn to lip read in a supportive environment with others with similar problems.

As a severely deaf person myself for the last 25 years, I never understood why the RNID changed its name to the unwieldy ‘Action for Hearing Loss’! Very few people on the street would recognize it, but would still respond to RNID, and I still use the latter when speaking to or emailing hearing friends. Are people offended by the word ‘deaf’ in these tiresomely politically correct times?!
