Children's' Remembrance: St Bartholomew's Church

 


The Children’s Remembrance Service was held for the first time at St Bartholomew’s Church, London Road. Children from three local primary schools attended the event forming a 250 strong choir.

The service was led by Bishop Peter of St. Bartholomew’s Church and attended by local dignitaries including the Lord Lieutenant of East Sussex Peter Field, The Mayor of Brighton and Hove Councillor Pete West, and the High Sheriff of East Sussex Michael Foster.

  • Wonderful photographs – capturing a beautiful service. Many thanks to all involved in organising this event, especially the Button family.  The choir consisted of 220 children from Downs Junior School, led by their music teacher, Anna Rusbatch.
