A flag raising ceremony to mark the start of Armed Forces Week was held at the Old Steine War Memorial in Brighton at 11am on Monday 19 June.
The Mayor of Brighton & Hove, Councillor Mo Marsh, Lord Lieutenant of East Sussex, Peter Field, and High Sheriff of East Sussex, Maureen Chowen, joined forces veterans and cadets at the event.
