Searching through some old photos, i found this photograph of Cottesmore School.

Unfortunately I cannot remember the name of the teacher I am kneeling next to, in the front row on her left, or any of the class members.

I believe the year to be 1958/59 or even earlier. Maybe someone does remember and can add some names. Is the teacher Miss Fitzpatrick?

Hello Clarissa, the girl in the second row middle was Linda Murray. We used to live near each other in Brighton so often walked to school together. I think the teacher is Miss Fitzpatrick. I posted the photo with Mr Harvey. My surname was Kelly way back then. We used to live in Burgess Hill and my sister still does, it’s changed a lot since the 1970s.

If I remember rightly Linda sang Ava Maria on Opportunity Knocks – she had a lovely voice.
