  • From what I can see here (no pun intended), the Eye Infirmary and Dispensary were two separate buildings in Queen’s Road. In the top photo, the words “Eye Infirmary” can clearly be seen across the top of the building which is to the north of the turning into North Road.
    In the bottom photo, the building immediately south of North Road (on the corner) was presumably the old Dispensary.
    Could someone clarify this please?
