This brought back some memories! I was a lifeguard for a season at Rottingdean pool and it was great fun, especially in a gale when waves broke against the sea wall and landed in the pool - lucky it was saltwater.
St Luke's also holds memories. I worked there prior to its transfer to Brighton Council. I was the last supervisor, head lifeguard, coach and engineer - truly a jack-of-all-trades.
Withdean and the memory of the school sports racing for the Downs School in 1968!
Great pictures. Well done Bill!
