Another Mystery School
I’m not making any comment on how difficult this Mystery School photo, taken from the 1939 Education Week booklet will be. There’s little help from external buildings, no back-up photo, and no plan B, the only thing I can say is “it is Brighton or Hove”.
Good luck, you’re going to need it.

Completely flummoxed, Peter! It looks quite an old school that is on a bit of a slope, and that’s as far as I’ve got.
A wild guess, Elm Grove School?
Could be Davigdor Primary School, Davigdor Road, Hove?
St Lukes?
How long are you going to keep us in suspenders, Peter? 🙂
Sorry Janet, I don’t know. My guess is Albion Hill, Queens Park or Elm Grove area, but that’s only a guess. There are lots more photos in the booklet, perhaps not so difficult, I will post some soon!
Peter, I didn’t realize you didn’t know the location either! I thought the booklet revealed the identity of the schools. My mistake. 🙂
