The Pattison family
The Pattison family lived near to St George’s Church at Kemp Town. Harry Pattison and two of his children were regular members of the church choir. His daughter Jessie (who preferred to be called Pat) was my mother and Jack was Harry’s youngest son.
All the family had fine voices, and Pat was much in demand as a soprano soloist locally. These pictures show the choir and the choir outings taken in the 1920s. Perhaps someone can say where the choir went to for these outings?
