Beautiful racehorses
Horses are one of my favourite animals, so it is lovely to see the beautiful racehorses. We walk up through East Brighton Park to the Woodingdean end of the course, often seeing rabbits on the way.
Try to pick the winner
If the blackberries are ripe we pick some as we walk. After watching the horses at the starting gate I choose the one I think will win. Sometimes the horses are frisky and don’t want to go in the starting gates, but they all seem to enjoy the race. We watch several races as we walk the length of the course and see the horses at the end of the races.
