Teenage Cancer Trust: South East Appeal Launch
An impossible blow
At a time when your body is changing, your social life is everything, and you are still trying to find out who you are, being diagnosed with cancer can seem like an impossible blow.
Specialist units
But thanks to Teenage Cancer Trust, thousands of young people are facing this news, and coming out fighting! By building specialist units in NHS hospitals, Teenage Cancer Trust provides the best possible care for young people with cancer.
All the fun of the fair
This week the trust launched its South East Appeal, opened by the Mayor, Councillor Geoffrey Wells and the Mayoress, Mrs Sally Wells. There was a visit to Brighton Pier for a night out with all the fun of the fair. For those brave enough there were rides on the dodgems, the opportunity to show your skills by knocking down the coconuts, and of course a chance to socialise and chat in the bar.
