Snow - January 2013

The Rest Garden is a beautiful green space to wander in at any time of year. But when snow has fallen it’s a magical place to be.

Silence descends, green becomes white, the winter shapes of the trees are sharply defined, and the tops of monuments seem to be decorated with icing, almost as if they were cakes.

Have you seen the 26 page section on St Nicholas of Myra, the ancient parish church of Brighton?

  • Beautiful photos Bob. Nice to see a different part of Brighton under snow.

  • Such beautiful pictures of our lovely Rest Garden. Lovely Bob thank you! We have viewed these from NZ where we are visiting our family in temperatures of upper 20s. We do not miss the cold but we miss you and our other Brighton friends and although it is very beautiful here, we miss the familiar beauty of Brighton and under snow it is even more special.
