Never forget my youth in Brighton

I lived here all through the Second World War from 3 years old until I was married at 24. I made many friends. We had lots of good times together. I went to Coombe Road school and had much fun at Brighton Racecourse when I was young.
I have lived on the Isle of Wight for many years. I will never forget my youth in Brighton.

  • Hiya Brenda, I just had to add a comment. I never had much chance to talk to relations for reasons unknown to me, but I do remember you and your dad George. My dad was Charles, the last time I met your dad was at my dad’s funeral. I must admit I wish I could have met more relations, I think it is my loss. We must be of similar age, I was born on 9.12.1938. My best wishes to you and yours, Mike.
