  • This was the church where my faith was born. I was taken there at the age of 5 by my parents, neither of whom were practicing Christians, and attended the childrens’ services, led by a Reader, Mr Turner. As I grew up I went to St Peter’s in West Blachington, The Church of the Good Shepherd in Dyke Road, and ultimately St Cuthbert’s (now demolished). But it is to St John’s that I owe so much.
