  • I think the cottage in the upper photo is “Bo-Peep” Cottage. During and after WWll there was a “pond” at the top of the hill by the cemetery wall used by the fire brigade. Years before that, a spring and stream ran down Church Hill, down London Road and into the sea near the Steine. Not a lot of people know that!
