Trying to trace the Bonnot family (may have gone by the surname Martin as shown on the 1911 census) - father Francois, mother Frances and two sons - Francis and Louis. Grateful for any information.

This photo brings back many memories - Cannon Street was a nice place to live. Sad to see some of the houses had already been demolished when this photo was taken - our house is the one on the right, next to A.M. Sims's shop. Happy memories and many thanks.

Did anyone know the Martin family from Cannon Street or Queens Park Road?

I'm thinking of producing a short film about life in the roads which now lie under Churchill Square. I would love to hear everyday life stories from people who lived there. If you're interested in contributing, contact chinookdesign@gmail.com  Many thanks.

I know something of the Martin Family of 22 Cannon Street in 1910/1911 - but their other surname was Bonnot, although showing as 'Martin' on the census for reasons unknown! Please get in touch if we can help each other out on this one as I need further information on Francois Martin (Bonnot) - my Great Grandfather Many thanks, Sarah Bonnot

I understand this street was formerly known as Suffolk Place.  Ancestors of mine (Greenfields) lived here at the time of the 1841 and 1851 census.

I'm fairly certain that one of the two ladies in the photo is Mrs Brooks, who lived next door to me. I lived at number 6.
