This is a small development of houses which was built in 1971 at the top ends of North Road and Middle Road; between them were three houses in Home Road. We moved into the house on the corner of Home Road and North Road in September 1971. The fence in the photograph was added later. I believe that every house was built slightly differently.

The strange thing about our house, or so it seemed to me as a young teenager, was it was the only house without a back garden. I wonder why that was?
