The car looks to be a Hillman Hunter, probably around 1968/69 the other car is an Austin A40, to the left just visible is a Ford 100E Prefect or Popular. Super shop, they stocked everything and all good quality! No yellow lines outside back then.

I’ve a lot to thank the Co-op London Road for – my Mum and Dad both worked there, met there, married, and were still working there before I was a gleam in my Father’s eye! My Dad then managed Co-op stores at Polegate, Woodingdean and Lewes Road, before getting his own shop.
