Temple Street was laid out in the 1830s, with attractive three-storey terraces. Nos.2, 29, 31, 37 and 42, all with narrow bows, are listed buildings, while no.7 is included on the council’s local list.

Does anyone have any information on 7 Temple Street. My ggg grandfather James Rushbrook Henley was born at that address in 1853. He worked as a postal clerk until his death in 1885. Thank you.
My nan (grandmother) was a Henley (maiden name) and her family were from Brighton and Worthing.
