Argus pays tribute to My Brighton and Hove

By Jennifer Drury

My Brighton and Hove certainly started the New Year with a flourish!

The Argus newspaper decided to run a piece on the website - and they gave us a centre fold spread.  It is a very interesting and well written piece which gives an insight to the workings of our volunteer group which maintains and runs the site.  There are also some great photos.

I am aware that many of our loyal visitors would not be able to get The Argus because they live outside Brighton, also we have a large number of 'regulars' who are in many far-flung corners of the globe. With this in mind I have added here a link to a large image version of the newspaper piece.  I do hope you enjoy reading it.

Looking forward to another successful year - but remember - we can't do it without you - so keep those memories, photographs and views about the city coming in.  If you need any help or have any questions about contributing to the site, please email me at jennifer@mybrightonandhove.org.uk and I will get right back to you.

A well deserved write up. This is a fantastic site. Only been on since summer and have gained so much from It. My visitors from abroad over Christmas were enthralled!  Thanks to all concerned.

Well done My Brighton and Hove.  You certainly have put hours of time into presenting a first class web site. One can lose hours just reviewing comments and web pages.......
Again thanks for helping bring the Mile Oak Revisited 'kids' together and making it that extra special event for us all.
Happy New Year to you all.

Wonderful website; full of great information. I love it.

Me too Joyce. I look in almost daily. So much to look at, so much to learn about Brighton and surrounding areas. I just love it.

To my Brighton and Hove, it is strange but also funny I have been away from you for nearly 45 years but in my heart you are still home to me. God how I miss you.

Well said James, 47 years for me. It's still home although I've been in Nottingham all this time.
