QueenSpark Write to Publish

QueenSpark Books is proud to unveil its latest project, Write to Publish. Over the next two years local people will be offered low cost courses on many different aspects of how book and web publications are made. There will be courses on editing, designing and marketing publications and self-publishing.

The scheme will also offer residents the opportunity to work on two new QueenSpark books. Volunteers are currently being recruited to work on the first of these publications which will focus on cinema going in Brighton & Hove. There are links to download the various briefs for volunteers at the bottom of this page.

Alongside the courses, QueenSpark will involve course ‘graduates’ and other volunteers in the organising and staging of small-scale related events that will both celebrate their involvement in the project and give them first hand experience of literary event management, marketing and sales.

If you would like to get involved or join QueenSpark’s free mailing list to be kept up-to-date on the project as it unfolds – please email Sarah Hutchings or John Riches at QueenSpark Books:
