I was there - all we saw was the tractor line as Ford were making a secret new car... Good day out... I'm not in this photo though.

Chris - I took the photo! Yes that was about it, the Tractor assembly line. When we all got back on the coach we only needed a gallon of diesel and we'd have had one running. We nicked everything! You must have been in the school year below me. The only name I can remember from your year is Martin Newson, his sister Marylin lives inthe USA I've heard. Other names are: Phil Cotton, Paul Jones, Brian Knight, Steve Giles (Brizzy), Tosha Rist, Pete Thursby, Ash Banfield, Lez Smart, Keith Long, Dave Wenman and Douglas Higgins far right. This particular stop was some seedy cafe on Purley Way, just soft drinks this time. I think the two masters that came along were Mr. Heaseman and Mr. Bennett.
